Message Recording (How it is set up)

Fred Johnston
Mr. Mouse

This explains the basics of how the recording of the message is set up and the channels used for input and output to the zoom recorder. The Pink Noise is shown because it is on the OLD lapel channel, and can fool you if you record it (the signal coming into the Zoom recorder looks like a nice (but constant level), where the message is voice, so the levels go up and down quite a bit... but it's still a good idea to listen through earbuds off the zoom to make sure...

So as you can see here, the Lapel Mic comes into Channel 16 and the Line-6(GuestMic) comes into Channel 15. Then on the Aux 10 (Output), an XLR cable goes over to the desk where the zoom recorder is set up. (BTW ) It plugs into Channel 1 of the zoom recorder.
